Lov'Ellis  has been honing her craft since 1998, but seriously took on the business full time in 2008, when the mantle was handed to her and her siblings with the passing of their legendary father, Jamaica’s international Rock Steady icon Alton Ellis OD. Since then, she has established an enviable reputation as an engaging and versatile performer and a prolific, innovative recording artiste whose music has taken her to many places throughout Europe the West Indies and other parts of the world.

In 2013, she was awarded the Best British Female Newcomer by the British Recording Industry Association. She was also nominated for the BEFFA in the Best Unsigned Act category in 2013, and again in 2014,  nominated for Best UK Reggae Act.
